I gotta give this guy respect. At least he was trying to exercise before his surgery. He doesn’t fit the sterotype “Woe is me” fat person. He’s trying to do something about it.

Phenomon4life  on February 5th, 2010

Its all his Parents Fault for not putting him in control when he was a kid.

I beg to disagree. Im 233 before and extremely obessed for my age, now I’m 181 pounds. Its a matter of choice guys. I changed my lifestyle and did a lot of exercise thats why I’m thin now. Surgeries is too dangerous I heard a lot of negative effects on that. Its your will, If you want to lose weight then start changing your lifestyle.

The procedure have very high successfulness and have few complications for such a procedure. It’s fairly cheap to do as well and doesn’t require anything added. It’s the best “cure” we’ve got to date.

Trissundessful  on February 12th, 2010

The gastric bypass procedure is supposed to “shrink” his stomach by connecting it closer to his intestines. So yeah, he’ll lose weight because he’ll be unable to eat as much. 200-300g food per meal would be the maximum amount he’d be able to eat.then.

The stomach functions like a storage for most people. There’s where the food gets melted down so that the intestines can take care of the remains. Obese people that overeats generally fill the stomachs and it grows which enables them to eat more.

moomoocowcowy  on February 14th, 2010

So the only reason he is losing weight now is because he can’t eat as much? That doesn’t seem right. But if someone can correct me on this gastric bypass that would be great

When you get that far into obesity as that guy in the video then you’ll be having big troubles getting out of it too. Do you think people like being obese. Everything we do drain double the amount of energy than what you do and we’re heavier and have worse blood circulation. You try walking around with a couch on your back and you’ll see how it is being obese.

Trissundessful  on February 17th, 2010

And we don’t use hospital resources. Old people do. We become fat for different reasons as well. Some eat cheap food, others eat too much and some eat wrong food (like sweets). Then there’s people who naturally have different kinds of metabolisms. Slower metabolisms generally makes them more susceptible of gaining weight while those that have fast ones rarely gain weight. You have no sympathy for that do you?

Trissundessful  on February 19th, 2010

Why do you care? You people are not knights in shining armours that personally deliver food to these children and the reason why African children starves isn’t because of fat people. Are you so gullible to think that we only take as much resources that is demanded from them? Of course not, we stockpile food and when it gets old we throw it away in the garbage. We don’t use most hospital resources than you do either, I’m pretty sure I’ve had less treatment than you in hospitals.

Brainstewmess  on February 21st, 2010

Depends how you got like that. If you aren’t getting enough exercise and eating too much it’s a completely different story.
If you did it to yourself, how would you feel walking into a tiny african village where they are starving and have to walk 5 miles for water?

Brainstewmess  on February 21st, 2010

Of course it is different.
It clearly said in this documentary that a life-time of over-eating and lack of exercise was the course of his weight gain. So to put it clearly for you, he’s a greedy, lazy f***er. THEN uses the resources of hospitals for his after care, and procedure.
People cannot help the colour of their skin, so I do think this is pretty different.
It is WRONG. There are starving people in this world, eating about 99% less than he does a day. It’s discraceful. Selfish.

toddwoodamerican  on February 25th, 2010

You are fat too.. how sad self-loathing bigot bullies are. Stop being stupid just because you hate yourself

k00lguy202  on February 27th, 2010

haha the video says it was his own fault, what a dumb ass. if it was hormonal than it’d be a different situation but this fat ass just didnt want to eat right or exercise so thats what he gets for living unhealthy for so long.

Stevo443  on February 27th, 2010

Hello. I was in a very similar situation to what this gentleman was in about a year ago (300lb) . Iv turned myself around (no surgery) and lost 70lbs since august… Im 19 and where i was going wasnt a good place at all.

All of you people who are leaving negative comments, Its hard being like him and its not necessarily our fault how we’ve ended up. so perhaps pull the stick out of your ass and do some exercise with it, dont want a *fat* guy being fitter than you now, do we? bunch of tossers.

philosophex  on March 2nd, 2010

I bet he knows the McDonalds menu by heart.

FREYES1990  on March 5th, 2010

When I was living in El Salvador and I saw the first obese American at there I was surprised. I never knew anyone so fat, and believe me is not funny because even when we are skinny these people can’t do what we do can. I just wish that Americans parents were more strict with their children and be more aware of what their children eat because after all kids are the ones who pay the consequences. PLEASE THINK BEFORE TAKING YOUR CHILDRE TO MCDONALDS OR BK.

RyuuMasato  on March 6th, 2010

nah this guy should be a body builder afterwards

anomalousclouds  on March 7th, 2010

yo, all the negative comment mafuckas here, can you twirl sticks around like him? bet not, li’l goon. not to mention you don’t get game from being skinny, as every sourpuss who commented negatively on this knows, because they had to go so low as to resort to making fun of this dude. sad, beyond sad. emotional morbid obestiy, perhaps.

Ginissi  on March 10th, 2010

you know what, all the average bodied people that make fun of or try and tell fat people to eat better, are the ones that go to mcdonalds everyday. this guy i know, sits at his computer all day, eating fast food, but is skinny.
the point im trying to make, is that it isnt the same reason for everyone. yes it could be that you over eat, it could be genetics or a slow metabolisum.
me, i had my thyroid remove because of an infection, and it slowed my metabolisum way down and i gained weight.
