If you are overweight how Long did it take for you to get pregnant?

overweight
Finally pregnant with baby #1!! asked:

I am an overweight woman and my husband and I have been ttc for 2 years come this april. We both have gone to the doctor and were told that everything is fine and we should have no trouble conceiving on our own. I am starting to loose hope…

My question is if you are overweight how long did it take you to conceive your baby?

It took me and my husband 2 months to conceive but it ended up in a miscarriage. We are TTC again but don’t loose hope. Just keep praying, eat like you’re pregnant, take your prenatal vitamins and it will happen when the time is right. I know how discouraging it can be to try and try and try and to never get a positive but it will happen, trust me! Don’t loose hope and hang in there!

being overweight can completely halt ovulation. losing even the slightest bit of weight, i saw one women who only lost 20lbs and it was enough to allow her to ovulate ans successfully carry twins! good luck, and lots of baby dust!

I am somewhat overweight and am now currently pregnant. My husband and I had been trying to have a baby for about a year. About a month ago I started losing some weight, not a lot just maybe about 10-15 pounds by the end of December. The beginning of January I found out I was pregnant. I don’t want to say it was because I lost weight, but I know it definitely helped. Don’t feel like you have to lose weight though. Heavier women get pregnant and have healthy babies all the time. Eating healthy, exercising, and getting plenty of sleep are the most important things. Good luck. :)

Obesity cases are on a rise all around the world. High oestrogen levels connected with obesity have also been noted to presumably result to pre-cancerous transformations in the uterus, though these can be dealt with if discovered early. Amenorrhea is a condition where monthly cycles are fully absent, that means a girl with amenorrhea hasn't had a single menstrual period in her lifetime.

The body desires to ‘reset’ so correct and ideal functions are revived.
