Mine is quite big and I was wondering how to tell if it is overweight.
He gets to run around the garden all day and he has a good diet.

If when he stands up his fat just rolls around his feet and instead of walking he rolls.

Hi
What breed of rabbit is it? That is important to know, so you have an idea what it should weigh.
How old is it? Under 8 to 12 weeks kits are usually free fed (have food available all the time) over that age they get fed controlled amounts of food to prevent obesity.

Do you have food available for an adult rabbit all the time?
That is the number one reason for overweight bunz.

They should be fed a controlled amount of pellets, the same time each day.

A general guideline is:
Dwarf breed 1/4 cup pellets a day
Large breed 1/2 -3/4 cup pellets a day
